There is encouraging news for the women of Punjab, as Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s wife Dr Gurpreet Kaur has announced a monthly allowance of Rs 1000 for them. The initiative is set to be implemented by the end of 2024, with funds directly deposited into women’s accounts. In addition, Dr. Gurpreet Kaur emphasized that the provision of free electricity, a promise that has already been fulfilled, is part of the guarantee for the women of Punjab. During his visit to Jalandhar, he actively listened to the concerns of the people and promptly resolved many issues. He also expressed an open door policy for his family, especially the people of Jalandhar, while acknowledging the support received during the by-elections.
Apart from this, Dr. Gurpreet Kaur shed light on the dedication of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to serve the people of Punjab. He said that not only the electricity bills of the common people have been waived, but other promises made to the people have also been fulfilled. After personally hearing the grievances of the people in Jalandhar, he took immediate action and provided guidance to the authorities to resolve some of the issues. The statement also reiterated the family’s commitment to serving the people of Jalandhar, emphasizing its willingness to continue to support and assist the community.
