Patiala,28-02-23(Press Ki Taquat):<\/strong> The guarantee of increase in old-age pension given by the Punjab government before the elections was not fulfilled even after a year after the formation of the AAP government.<\/span><\/span> done<\/span><\/span> Meanwhile, President Arvinder Kumar Kaka said that the amount of pension which is being given to the elderly by the Punjab government at present is very less.<\/span><\/span> In today’s era, a pension of Rs 1500 cannot be used for a whole month.<\/span><\/span> 1500 rupees pension does not come with daily medicines, so where will they eat bread. After the age of 50, diseases take over and they are not able to work. Therefore, due to inflation, the old age pension is mainly due to the economic problems faced by the elderly.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

At least 5000 rupees per month should be made so that they can get some relief in leading a good life.<\/span><\/span> The pension given by the government is the right of the elderly and the only support for their old age.<\/span><\/span> And they are persecuted, beaten and they are spending their lives under the shadow of fear and their old age fades away. All in all, old age is full of challenges and their conditions are pitiable and worrying.<\/span><\/span> President Arvinder Kumar Kaka also demanded that the old age pension of every male below 65 years should be introduced at the age of 60 years and the government should pay special attention to the elderly by paying old age pension of Rs 5000 per month until old age, widows and<\/span><\/span> The New Patiala Welfare Club will continue its struggle until the Hon’ble Government does not increase the disabled pensions.<\/span><\/span> On this occasion, Hukum Singh, Prabhajit Singh, Avtar Singh, Karam Singh, Malwinder Singh, Bhaga Singh, Jarnail Singh, Mahinder Singh, Jagjit Singh, Narendra Pal Singh, Kuljit Singh, Harjit Singh, Supinder Singh, Swaran Singh, Maan Singh, Manjit Singh<\/span><\/span> , Parkash Singh, Naresh Kumar, Sandeep Singh, Gurjit Singh, Amarjit Singh etc. were present.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
