Two women who were seen being paraded naked in the Manipur sexual violence video have moved the Supreme Court against the state government and the Centre.<\/p>\n

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said the Centre doesn\u2019t have any objection if the Supreme Court decides to monitor the probe.<\/p>\n

Mehta\u2019s statement came after senior advocate Kapil Sibal, representing the two women shown in the viral video, told a three-judge Bench led by CJI DY Chandrachud that the probe should be conducted by an independent agency.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe need an agency in which the victims have confidence,\u201d Sibal told the top court.<\/p>\n
