\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Punjab Public Works Minister S. Harbhajan Singh ETO, on Friday, directed the officers to ensure immediate disposal of arbitration cases besides expediting the handling of court cases of the department.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0While reviewing the pending arbitration and court cases of different zones within the Public Works Department (B&M Branch), the Cabinet Minister expressed concern over the pending cases, asking officials to promptly address arbitration cases and ensure a handling of court cases. He emphasized the need for authorities to take appropriate measures to reduce the case backlog.<\/p>\n

  1. Harbhajan Singh ETO instructed Mr. Priyank Bharti, Secretary, PWD to forward the case to the Finance Department for appointing a dedicated panel of expert lawyers to expedite case settlement, saving both time and money of the government.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
