The court has directed the CBI to conduct further investigation into the appointment process and submit a report within three months, following concerns raised about the validity of the appointments made.<\/p>\n<p>Despite over 23 lakh candidates appearing for the SLST-2016 for 24,640 vacant posts, the court found the appointments to be null and void, with 25,753 appointment letters issued against the vacancies.
