Bengal, 27 April 2024 (Press ki taquat bureau):\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong>During the Lok Sabha election campaign, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee encountered an unfortunate incident on Saturday when she sustained injuries while boarding a helicopter. Initial reports suggest that as she was taking a seat after boarding her helicopter in Durgapur, Paschim Bardhaman, the Chief Minister slipped and fell, resulting in a minor injury. Fortunately, her security personnel were quick to assist her. Despite the mishap, Banerjee displayed resilience and continued her journey to Asansol without delay.<\/p>\n

It is worth noting that this is not the first time the West Bengal Chief Minister has faced an injury. Just a little over a month ago, she suffered a fall at her Kalighat residence in Kolkata, which left her with a forehead injury. Following the incident, the 69-year-old leader was promptly taken to the State-run SSKM Hospital in Kolkata. In a statement, the hospital’s director, Manimoy Bandopadhyay, revealed that Banerjee had been brought in with injuries sustained from a fall caused by “a push from behind.” The fall resulted in a cerebral concussion and a noticeable cut on her forehead and nose.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
