Shambhu, 24 february (press ki taquat bureau): The Kisan Mazdoor Morcha and SKM (non-political) have announced a candle march to be held on Saturday at both Shambhu and Khanauri borders in honor of the martyrs. This will mark the 12th day of the ongoing morchas at these borders. Additionally, on February 26, effigies of the WTO, corporate houses, and governments will be burned.
Following this, a convention will take place on February 25, where discussions on the WTO will be held. On the morning of February 26, effigies will be burned, and in the afternoon, over 20ft tall effigies will be set ablaze at both borders. On February 27, a meeting of all leaders from across the country will be held by the Kisan Mazdoor Morcha and SKM (non-political). Furthermore, on February 28, both forums will engage in a discussion.
Looking ahead, the next steps will be decided on February 29. In light of the recent death of a youth during the farmers’ protest, Pandher has emphasized that they will not cremate the individual until justice is served. He has also called for the lodging of a First Information Report (FIR) against Haryana.
