Hisar, March 13 (press ki taquat bureau): Former Deputy CM and JJP leader Dushyant Chautala addressed the ‘Nav Sankalp’ rally in Hisar, where he stated that the decision to end the alliance was made by the BJP leadership.
He mentioned that the JJP had requested two seats from the BJP for the Lok Sabha polls, and after consulting with JJP national president Ajay Chautala, he proposed an increase in old-age pension to Rs 5,100 to the BJP president JP Nadda.
However, all options were rejected, leading to the alliance being broken. Dushyant emphasized that he worked for the welfare of the people and effectively utilized his authority, even impressing BJP MLAs. He indicated that the party would contest the Lok Sabha polls, but the final decision would be made by party chief Ajay Singh Chautala.
