west bengal 15 march (press ki taqaut bureau): Mamata Banerjee, the Chief Minister of West Bengal, sustained a significant injury in an accident, as reported by the Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Thursday. She was promptly taken to the state-run SSKM hospital in Kolkata.
A hospital official mentioned that the 69-year-old politician slipped and hit her head on a piece of furniture at her residence, shortly after returning from an event in South Kolkata’s Ballygunge.
The TMC shared images of Mamata Banerjee on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), showing her bleeding forehead. The party requested prayers for her recovery.
State BJP president Sukanta Majumdar expressed hopes for a quick recovery for the Chief Minister, stating that they pray for her swift return to good health.
