Karnal, April 30 (Press ki taquat bureau): Former Chief Minister and BJP candidate from Karnal Lok Sabha seat, Manohar Lal Khattar, made a strategic move to target rural voters by organizing a road show in the villages of Assandh and Nilokheri Assembly segments. The local residents warmly welcomed him, demonstrating their support for his candidacy. During a gathering at Gangatheri Popra village in Assandh Assembly segment, Khattar passionately urged the attendees to vote for the BJP, emphasizing the need to bring Prime Minister Narendra Modi back for a third term. He highlighted the remarkable achievements of the Modi government, contrasting them with the Congress’ lackluster performance over the past six decades. Khattar specifically mentioned the swift decision to abolish Article 370, which had long been a contentious issue, and the government’s efforts to protect the rights of Muslim women by banning the practice of ‘Triple Talaq’. He also emphasized the BJP’s commitment to women’s empowerment, citing the successful implementation of the LPG cylinder distribution program. Furthermore, Khattar praised the government’s efforts to eradicate corruption in the recruitment process, ensuring transparency and fairness. In the past, job opportunities were often sold, forcing individuals to resort to selling their land and possessions to secure employment for their children.
