Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB) has given another opportunity to apply for the recruitment of more than 1300 Driver/Operator and Fireman posts in the respective departments of Punjab State Government. As per the notice issued by the board, applications can be made till 16 March 2023 for the posts advertised through advertisement number 1/2023. PSSSB has resumed the application process for these posts on Monday, March 13. Also, earlier the board had accepted applications for a total of 1317 posts of Driver/Operator and Fireman from January 28 to February 28. In such a situation, candidates who wish to apply for Driver / Operator and Fireman posts advertised by PSSSB Punjab can apply by visiting the official website of the board sssb.punjab.gov.in or the respective application page from the active link. As part of the application process, candidates will first have to register and then by logging in with the registered details, candidates will be able to submit their applications. Thereafter, the candidate will have to pay the prescribed application fee of Rs.1000, in which the candidates belonging to the reserved categories of the state are exempted. The board has given time till March 20 to the candidates to pay the fee. As per the recruitment notification issued by PSSSB, candidates for driver / operator posts should have passed 8th standard exam and should have HMV driving license. While for fireman posts, the candidate must have 10th (Matric) pass. The age of the candidates for both the posts should not be less than 18 years and not more than 37 years as on 1st January 2023.
