The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday moved the Supreme Court seeking the cancellation of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav’s bail in cases linked to the alleged fodder scam. The court will hear the petition on August 25.
The former Bihar Chief Minister has been convicted in four cases related to the alleged fodder scam. These cases are related to illegal withdrawal from Dumka, Deoghar, Chaibasa and Doranda treasuries. Last year, Lalu Prasad was granted bail by the Jharkhand High Court on health grounds.
