February 13 (press ki taquat bureau): The farmers’ march to the national capital resulted in the closure of multiple gates at eight Delhi Metro stations on Tuesday morning. However, it is important to note that these stations are not completely closed, and passengers are still allowed to enter and exit through other gates.

Additionally, a gate at Khan Market metro station was also closed on Tuesday as a precautionary measure. To ensure the safety of the city, a significant number of police and paramilitary personnel have been deployed, along with multi-layered barricades, to seal the borders at Singhu, Tikri, and Ghazipur.

This is to prevent the protesting farmers from entering the city during their march. The closure of the gates at various stations is part of the security arrangements implemented on the instructions of the police authorities. Several gates have been shut at stations such as Rajiv Chowk, Mandi House, Central Secretariat, Patel Chowk, Udyog Bhawan, Janpath, and Barakhamba Road.
