Phagwara, June 8 (Press ki taquat bureau): A large group of activists from the Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) (Doaba) expressed their discontent over the suspension of CISF constable Kulwinder Kaur for allegedly slapping Kangana Ranaut without proper investigation.
The protesters, led by Tersem Singh, protested against the BJP government by burning an effigy of Kangana Ranaut in Goraya, Punjab, while chanting slogans. BKU (Doaba) officials, including President Manjit Singh Rai, General Secretary Satnam Singh Sahni, and Media Incharge Gurpal Singh Mauli, issued warnings to the Union government to release the constable and withdraw the FIR to avoid further escalation of the situation.
