Chandigarh, March 26(Press Ki Taquat)- Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal said that compensation will be sent to the farmers’ accounts by the month of May after assessing the crops damaged due to the recent unseasonal rains and hailstorms. He said that the work of Girdavari would be completed in 15 days and compensation would be given to all the farmers in a transparent manner.
The present government gave 1300 crore compensation.
Shri Manohar Lal said that the present government has given compensation of Rs 1300 crore to the farmers. He said that it is mandatory for the farmers to fill the details of their losses on the e-crop compensation portal. Apart from this, those farmers who cannot fill the assessment of loss on the compensation portal themselves, can get it filled by visiting the Common Service Center. Its expenses will be borne by the government. He said that farmers who get crop insurance are paid by the company and farmers who do not get insurance will be given compensation of Rs 15,000 per acre by the government.
No one should be stained with corruption
On a question asked about corruption, the Chief Minister said that during the year 2013, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had said that it is a challenge for me to fix the image of the leaders of my fraternity. That’s why it is my intention that there should not be any stain on the hem of any person in the society.
The government did the work of changing the system
On another question, the Chief Minister said that apart from basic development like construction of schools, colleges, construction of roads, railway line, removing the problems of the citizens by staying in the society and increasing the happiness index, the present government has also done the work of change in the system. He said that the present government has done the task of creating a civilized society by living up to the aspirations and expectations of the society.
Concern and interest of the public only and only
The Chief Minister said that he does not worry about the opposition, nor does he have any concern. He is only concerned about the public and is working keeping in mind the interest of the public. He said that no one trusts the words of the opposition. The opposition always talks about faith.
The Chief Minister said that on the occasion of Good Governance Day on December 25, 2014, the CM Window program was started, under which more than 13 lakh problems have been solved so far. He said that during the last 8 years employment opportunities were also provided to the youth in the private sector and more than one lakh government jobs were provided, which is one and a half times more than during the tenure of the opposition.
The Chief Minister said that besides making arrangements for higher education on a large scale, arrangements are also being made for skilling. Apart from this, placements are also being given to the youth through MoU through Skilling University. For graduate youth, Rs 9000 per month including allowance of Rs 3000 and honorarium of Rs 6000 per month for 100 hours of work is being given. This facility has been provided to 100000 youths under Saksham Yojana.
antisocial activities will not be allowed to flourish
The Chief Minister said that the data of every family is being collected through Parivar Pehchan Patra. Unemployment ranges from 6 to 8 percent in the state. Centers have been opened to wean the youth away from drug addiction. But many people get involved in such anti-social and anti-national activities in the greed of earning, strict action will be taken against them. He said that necessary steps would be taken to control drug and smugglers and they would not be allowed to flourish under any circumstances.
The Chief Minister said that whenever a new method is used, it is definitely opposed. There was opposition to GST even when it was implemented in the state. Now some people are opposing e-tendering. Even before this, works are being done in the departments only through eTendering, but the local bodies have not been done so far in the department. eTendering brings transparency in works. He said that it is our job to attack corruption, neither we are corrupt nor do we have corruption in our intentions, our wealth is only honesty.
Save water campaign launched
The Chief Minister along with Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Maharaj launched the campaign to save water. The main objective of this campaign is to save the last drop of ground water. He said that the Mera Pani Meri Virasat scheme is being run by the government. Under this, an amount of Rs 7000 per acre is provided to the farmers for growing other crops in place of paddy crop. So far, in 1.75 lakh acres of land, farmers have grown other crops in place of less paddy under this scheme. Apart from this, work is being done to motivate and give benefits to the farmers for setting up 3000 recharge wells and growing crops with micro irrigation. Work is being done to recharge the land by making rain water ponds and dams. Apart from this, 200 STPs have been installed to recycle and reuse water, from which 750 cusecs of water has been reused.
He said that this mission will be given full support from the government and will be taken forward. The Chief Minister also launched Water Bank Card Ticket on the occasion. Rajya Sabha MP Kartikeya Sharma was also present on this occasion.
