The students of both government and private schools who showcased excellent performance in the 10th and 12th board exams were honored with the ‘Excellence in Education Award-2023’ by the Delhi government. The ceremony took place at the Thyagaraj Stadium, where Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was the chief guest. The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Chief Minister. Education Minister Atishi, MLA Madan Lal, and MLA Shivcharan Goel, along with other officials from the Education Department, were present on this occasion. Mr. Kejriwal stated that the revolutionary changes that have taken place in Delhi’s education sector in the past 7-8 years are being discussed across the country and the world. The magic of this revolution is reaching the teachers of our government schools. Around 60-70 thousand teachers work in Delhi’s government schools. The Chief Minister said that if every child in the country is provided with quality education, then these children will be the future of our nation.
