Imran Masood out of UP municipal elections, number of 11 mayor seats changed

UP, March 31 (Press Ki Taquat) – The reservation list for Uttar Pradesh Municipal Corporation elections has been released. With this, the calculation of many seats has changed. It is sure to have an impact on a total of 760 seats of Municipal Corporation, Municipal Corporation, Nagar Panchayat. After this decision, many stalwarts preparing for the elections have now dropped out of the race.
With the new reservation list, the political equation of many seats has completely changed. In the case of old reservation, the aspirations of many veteran candidates and leaders who are preparing to contest the Lok Sabha elections have been dashed. However, the final list will be released after raising objections to the reservation of seats.
Elections will be held in 760 municipal bodies out of the total 762 municipal bodies of UP, for which the reservation list was released on Thursday. In UP, reservation has been announced for the post of mayors of 17 municipal corporations, presidents of 199 municipal corporations and presidents of 544 municipal panchayats. Apart from this, reservation is also made for 13,965 wards of Municipal Corporation, Municipal Council and Panchayats.
