New delhi, 11 march (press ki taquat bureau): The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has introduced a new scholarship program for female students enrolled in BBA, BCA, and BMS programs. This scholarship will offer financial assistance of ₹7.5 crore annually to 3000 economically disadvantaged female students.
Each student will receive an annual grant of ₹25000. AICTE is committed to supporting girl students and will allocate ₹7.5 crore per year for three years to ensure their educational needs are met. This scholarship is exclusively for female students pursuing BBA, BCA, and BMS courses in AICTE-approved institutions.
AICTE Chairman Prof. T.G. Sitharam emphasized the council’s dedication to empowering women and promoting gender equality in technical and management education. In addition to the PRAGATI scheme for engineering students, this special scholarship aims to provide affordable education and empower girls in the field of management as well.
