Chandigarh, May 30 (Press Ki taquat bureau): The BJP government led by Nayab Singh Saini is currently operating at a rapid pace, aiming to make significant progress before the upcoming Assembly elections scheduled for October. With limited time available due to the model code of conduct in place for the Lok Sabha elections, the government is preparing to launch a 90-day development plan for the state as soon as restrictions are lifted.
The development plan, which has been in the works since Saini assumed office as CM, involves initiatives such as issuing tenders for infrastructure projects, introducing schemes to benefit the public, expediting the recruitment process, and implementing localized development projects.
The blueprint for the plan has been carefully crafted based on departmental priorities and feedback received during Jan Samvad programs conducted prior to the Lok Sabha elections announcement. Key government departments have been tasked with submitting proposals, which have undergone thorough discussions and revisions based on input from various stakeholders, including party leaders.
The government is currently seeking feedback from district chiefs and party organizations to finalize the draft before the imminent elections. The time constraint of three months before the election campaign begins again has put pressure on the Saini government to demonstrate its commitment to fulfilling promises made to the public. The development plan serves as a strategic approach to ensure efficient delivery of these promises within the limited timeframe.
