Wayanad/New Delhi, July 30 (Press ki taquat bureau): In one of the most devastating natural calamities to strike Kerala, a tragic toll of at least 123 lives has been lost, with an additional 128 individuals sustaining injuries due to significant landslides instigated by relentless rainfall in Wayanad on Tuesday. The catastrophic events have left hundreds trapped beneath the rubble, raising grave concerns about the potential for an increasing death count, as rescue operations are urgently underway to locate any remaining survivors.
Rescue operations are being conducted by teams from the Army, Navy, and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), who are all working collaboratively to search for survivors despite challenging weather conditions, while various agencies coordinate efforts to deliver essential aid to those impacted by the disaster.
