The National Medical Commission (NMC) has mandated that medical colleges update the list of their faculty members in each department on their websites by July 31, 2024. This directive requires monthly updates, and non-compliance will result in consequences for the institutions. The emphasis is placed on accurate biometric attendance marking by faculty members, ensuring that the information provided is up to date and aligned with the Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS) of the college.

The updated faculty list must include separate listings under each department, with the names of faculty members, recent photographs, educational qualifications, latest designations, and registration numbers. This information is crucial for transparency and accountability within the medical institutions, as it allows for easy access to the credentials and details of the faculty members for students, parents, and other stakeholders.

The NMC’s notification outlines the specific requirements for updating the faculty list on college websites, emphasizing the need for accurate and comprehensive information. This initiative aims to ensure that the faculty details are readily available and aligned with the AEBAS system, promoting efficiency and transparency in the management of medical colleges. Compliance with these requirements is essential to meet the standards set by the NMC and to uphold the integrity of the medical education system.
