Celebrities are increasingly adopting unique methods to support environmental sustainability, ranging from eliminating plastic usage to creating homemade fertilizers and cultivating their own gardens. As they reflect on a future that prioritizes ecological balance, many of them take the opportunity on Earth Day to discuss actionable steps for planetary preservation. Personally, I have several non-functional mobile phones that I plan to recycle this Earth Day. In our residential community, we have initiated a program to separate wet and dry waste, which aids the Mumbai Municipal Corporation in its waste management efforts. Nevertheless, the issue of plastic waste remains unresolved. I believe it is imperative for the government to impose a ban on plastic products and explore alternative solutions to mitigate this pressing environmental challenge.
