Chandigarh, June 12 (Press ki taquat bureau): Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann held a meeting with AAP national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at Tihar Jail today, where they discussed various aspects related to the Punjab unit of the party. This included analyzing the party’s performance in the recent Lok Sabha elections, as well as evaluating the individual performances of ministers and some MLAs who excelled during the elections.
Amidst differing opinions within the party regarding the timing of a Cabinet reshuffle, the party has officially refuted any claims of an imminent reshuffle. This comes as a response to the ongoing discussions within the party regarding the potential changes in the Cabinet structure.
With the upcoming Jalandhar West by-election scheduled for July 10, Chief Minister Mann is reportedly in favor of delaying any Cabinet changes until after the bypoll. This election is seen as a crucial test for the party, especially following the resignation of AAP MLA Sheetal Angural, who joined the BJP, leaving the seat vacant.
