Jyoti Yadav is a 2019 batch IPS officer of the Indian Police Service. Harjot Singh Bains is the first-time MLA from Anandpur Sahib, while IPS Jyoti Yadav is the SP from Mansa. Speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha Kultar Singh Sandhawan has wished for the engagement of Harjot Singh Bains by tweeting. AAP MLA Harjot Singh Bains will marry IPS officer Jyoti Yadav later this month. He said that both of them got engaged recently. But the wedding date has not been announced yet. Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhawan congratulated Bains and Yadav and wrote on his Twitter handle that Nanak Satguru has created a new addition. Bains, who became MLA for the first time from Anandpur Sahib constituency in Rupnagar district, is currently the Education Minister in Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s government. 32-year-old Harjot Singh Bains is a lawyer by profession. He is a resident of Gambhirpur village of Anandpur Sahib. In the 2017 elections, he contested from Sahnewal constituency. Bains has earlier led the youth wing of AAP in the state. He completed BA LLB (Hons) from Panjab University, Chandigarh in 2014. He also received a Certificate in International Human Rights Law from the London School of Economics in 2018. Punjab cadre IPS officer Jyoti Yadav is currently posted as Superintendent of Police in Mansa district. Yadav, who hails from Gurugram in Haryana, hit the headlines last year after a public spat with AAP MLA Rajinderpal Kaur Chhina.
