26 nov Chandigarh (Press ki taquat bureau): Kisan Mazdoor Morcha leader Sarwan Singh Pandher asserted on Tuesday that police forcibly removed farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal from the Khanauri border point, where he was set to commence a hunger strike in support of farmers’ demands. Reports indicate that law enforcement officials entered the protest area around 2:30 AM and detained Dallewal, who was in the process of preparing for his fast. Additionally, it has been claimed that the protest site was subjected to vandalism. Dallewal had declared on Monday his intention to initiate a fast unto death on Tuesday, advocating for a legal assurance of minimum support price (MSP) for agricultural produce. He emphasized his willingness to sacrifice his life to ensure that the demands of the farming community are met.
