New Delhi [India] April 22: In a commanding performance, Punjab FC triumphed over Odisha FC with a decisive 3-0 victory, thereby securing their place in the quarterfinals of the Kalinga Super Cup (KSC) during the Round of 16 match held at Kalinga Stadium on Monday, as reported by the official ISL website. The Shers showcased their dominance on the field, with goals scored by Nihal Sudeesh, Ezequiel Vidal, and Asmir Suljic, effectively outclassing their opponents. Punjab FC is set to face FC Goa in the quarterfinals on April 26, following FC Goa’s own convincing win against Gokulam Kerala FC, which also ended in a 3-0 scoreline. Head coach Panagiotis Dilmperis implemented an assertive 4-2-4 formation, placing his confidence in an all-Indian defensive lineup consisting of Khaiminthang Lhungdim, Suresh Meitei, Paramveer, and Abhishek Singh.
