Jaipur, April 11 (Press ki taquat bureau): Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson was penalized Rs 12 lakh for his team’s slow over rate during the IPL match against Gujarat Titans. The Titans, led by Shubman Gill, ended the Royals’ winning streak with a thrilling three-wicket victory.
Despite Samson’s unbeaten 68 and Riyan Parag’s 78, the Royals fell short as Gill’s 72 and Rashid Khan’s quick cameo guided the Titans to victory in the last-ball finish. This was the first over rate offence of the season for the Royals, resulting in the fine for Samson.
