The plea to provide evidence to support the conspiracy of plotting the assassination of Khalistani separatist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu on American soil, made by Indian citizen Nikhil Gupta, has been dismissed by the American judge. District Judge Victor Marrero of the United States has today rejected the plea to dismiss the request of Gupta’s lawyer to provide evidence in this case. Last year in November, the 52-year-old Gupta was accused of conspiring with an employee of the Indian government to support the plot to assassinate Khalistani separatist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu on American soil.
The appeal of Nikhil Gupta to provide evidence in the Pannu case was rejected by the American judge.
