The consecration ceremony at the Ram temple in Ayodhya has led to the declaration of a holiday on January 22 by the Chandigarh administration.
According to an official statement from the Home department of the UT administration, all government offices, boards, corporations, and institutions, as well as industrial establishments under the Chandigarh administration, will remain closed on that day.
This decision has been made to allow employees to actively take part in the festivities.
