G.S. Pannu, declared a terrorist by India, has appealed for the inclusion of “gangsters” in the Sikh faith in Punjab. In addition, he prevented Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann from participating in the Republic Day parade with senior officials. Pannu also threatened the Chief Minister and DGP Gaurav Yadav. In an email sent to some journalists and a video message, Pannu compared Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to former Chief Minister Beant Singh. He also compared DGP Yadav to former police officer Gobind Ram. In another video, Pannu told Prime Minister Narendra Modi that he should not participate in the Republic Day event without security.
Bhagwant Mann and DGP were threatened by Pannu.
