New Delhi, September 2 (Press ki taquat bureau): Government sources on Monday said actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut’s film “Emergency” had sensitive content and religious sentiments could not be allowed to be hurt.
Speaking on the deferment of the release date of the film, initially scheduled for September 6 launch, official sources said, “Some religious organisations have raised concerns. Religious sentiments cannot be hurt. There is some sensitive content in the film,” a top source said.
The release of “Emergency” has been deferred multiple times as the film is yet to get a certificate of clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification. Sikh organisations have been agitating against the film, demanding a ban on it.
