Chandigarh, March 27 (Press Ki Taquat): Punjab Cyber Cell has registered a case against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal against an unidentified person on the charge of spreading false information about his educational qualification on social media.
AAP leader Narinder Singh, a resident of Brahman Majra village of Noorpur Bedi police station in district Ropar, said in the complaint that a post was posted through a Twitter handle a few days ago. It read, “Another feat by a staunchly honest party”. In it information was given about the educational qualification of Arvind Kejriwal. It was written that the Chief Minister of Delhi did not get admission in IIT on the basis of merit but he studied from corporate quota. It also had a black and white photograph of Kejriwal. Narinder Singh said that after seeing this post on social media, he received calls from many people. The cyber cell has registered a case under Sections 469, 419, 120-B of IPC and IT Act 2000 against the unidentified accused in this case. The cyber cell has written to Twitter asking for all the account information of the accused person.
