Bathinda, April 10 (Press ki taquat bureau):  A high school student passed away following a car crash into a tree, allegedly due to speeding. The incident occurred near Bhagta bus stand on Bajakhana road while he was returning from dropping his mother off.

The student, identified as Uday Partap Singh, was a student at Delhi Public School in Bathinda. He resided in Sirewala village due to a dispute between his parents, despite belonging to Moga district.

Underage driving is prevalent in the city, with children as young as 13-14 years old riding two-wheelers and 15-16 years old driving cars to coaching centers. Parents are urged to refrain from allowing their children to drive illegally, as it poses a serious risk to their safety.
