On Saturday, the Aam Aadmi Party achieved victory in three out of the four assembly bypoll seats, specifically in Gidderbaha, Chabbewal, and Dera Baba Nanak. In contrast, the Congress party secured the Barnala seat, which had previously been a stronghold for the AAP in the Punjab region. The bypoll elections for Gidderbaha, Dera Baba Nanak, Chabbewal (SC), and Barnala were conducted on November 20, following the necessity for these elections due to the earlier election of the sitting legislators to the Lok Sabha earlier this year.
