New Delhi, April 1 (Press ki taquat bureau): Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister, appeared before a Delhi court on Monday after his Enforcement Directorate custodial remand ended in the money laundering case related to the excise policy. Special Judge Kaveri Baweja presided over the crowded courtroom, where AAP ministers Atishi, Saurabh Bhardwaj, and Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal were also present. Kejriwal was arrested by the federal probe agency on March 21 and was remanded in the custody of the Enforcement Directorate until March 28 by Special Judge Baweja. The court then granted the ED’s request for a four-day extension of his custodial interrogation until April 1. The probe agency, in its remand application, has accused the AAP leader of being involved in the entire conspiracy of the Delhi liquor scam, including drafting and implementing the policy, receiving kickbacks, and using the proceeds of crime for the Goa Assembly election campaign.
