The Punjab Cabinet, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, is set to welcome five new members on Monday evening, while four current ministers from the Aam Aadmi Party will be removed from their positions. Although the official announcement regarding the names of the incoming and outgoing ministers has yet to be made, sources within the government and the party indicate that the new inductees will include Mohinder Bhagat, who recently secured victory in the Jalandhar West bypoll, along with Sham Churasi MLA Dr. Ravjot Singh, Khanna MLA Tarunpreet Singh Sond, Lehragaga MLA Barinder Goyal, and Sahnewal MLA Hardeep Singh Mundian. The Chief Minister had previously indicated that Bhagat would soon be appointed to the Cabinet. The government has requested an audience with Governor Gulab Chand Kataria to facilitate the induction of the new ministers on Monday evening. Among those who will be leaving the Cabinet are Local Bodies Minister Balkaur Singh, Horticulture and Public Relations Minister Chetan Singh Jouramajra, Revenue Minister Brahm Shankar Jimpa, and Tourism and Cultural Affairs Minister Anmol Gagan Maan, all of whom have reportedly tendered their resignations.
