Chandigarh, July 13 (Press ki taquat bureau): Mohinder Bhagat, the candidate for the Jalandhar West assembly bypoll in Punjab representing the AAP, emerged victorious with a significant lead of 37,325 votes. Following closely behind, Sheetal Angural of the BJP secured the second position, while Congress’ Surinder Kaur claimed the third spot. Binder Kumar, the nominee for the BSP, landed at the fourth position, and Surjit Kaur, the candidate for SAD, secured the fifth spot. The counting of votes commenced at 8 am at the Lyallpur Khalsa College for Women, marking the beginning of the announcement of the election results.
