During his visit to Lakshadweep, Prime Minister Narendra Modi went ‘snorkeling’ to the surface of the water to get a glimpse of the marine life. He has posted pictures in this regard on ‘X’ and shared information about his exhilarating experience of the island located on the shores of the Arabian Sea. He wrote, “Those who want to have a thrilling experience, Lakshadweep must be on their list. I also tried snorkeling during my migration. It was a very uplifting experience.” Modi has also shared pictures of morning walks on the beaches of Lakshadweep, leisure moments and sitting on a beach chair. He said, “Apart from the natural beauty, the peace of Lakshadweep is also captivating. It gave me an opportunity to think about how to work harder for the welfare of 140 crore Indians.” Officials in the Prime Minister’s Office also shared a video of Modi diving in the sea and among fishes underwater. Modi has started many projects in Lakshadweep. He said, “Recently I got an opportunity to live among the people of Lakshadweep. I am still in awe of the stunning beauty of the islands and the warmth of the people there. I got a chance to interact with people in Agathi, Bangaram and Kavaratti. I thank the people of the islands for their hospitality.
