The Punjab Government is going to launch the ‘Mavan-Dhiyan Di Hatti’ scheme to make women financially self-reliant. After implementing the ‘Mavan Dhiyan Satkar Yojana’ from July 1st, the state government is now focusing on the ‘Mavan Dhiyan Di Hatti’ scheme.
The initial blueprint of this scheme was started in April, but now preparations are underway to open commercial booths under the ‘Mavan Dhiyan Di Hatti’ banner at every block level. The Rural Development and Panchayat Department has started looking for land to construct shops under this scheme, and shops already exist in several blocks, which will now be named ‘Mavan Dhiyan Di Hatti’.
