Chandigarh, 5 march (press ki taquat bureau):  On the second day of the Budget session of the Vidhan Sabha, the Opposition MLAs fell into the trap set by the treasury benches. Instead of starting the day with the Question Hour, the proceedings began with a debate on the Governor’s Address, catching the Congress MLAs off guard.

CM Bhagwant Mann seemed prepared to dominate the narrative by presenting a padlock to Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan, symbolizing his intention to lock the House and prevent the Opposition from escaping the debate.

The Congress accused the CM of diverting attention from real issues through theatrics and unconstitutional behavior, while the MLAs found themselves in a difficult situation, raising slogans in the well of the House for over four hours.
