United Nations, April 9 (Press ki taquat bureau): India’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Ruchira Kamboj, expressed deep concern over the ongoing conflict in Gaza and the resulting humanitarian crisis.
She emphasized that the adoption of the UN Security Council resolution on March 25 was a positive step. Kamboj condemned the loss of civilian lives, particularly women and children, and stressed the need to prevent further casualties.
The resolution called for an immediate ceasefire during the month of Ramadan and the release of all hostages, while also ensuring humanitarian access for medical and other needs.
