Badal (Muktsar), April 22 (Press ki taquat bureau): The Badal family is once again showing signs of division as the Lok Sabha elections approach. Harsimrat Kaur Badal is the SAD candidate from Bathinda, while her estranged brothers-in-law, Manpreet Singh Badal and Fateh Singh Badal, are aligning themselves with the BJP and Congress respectively.
Harsimrat, the daughter-in-law of Parkash Singh Badal, has Manpreet Badal, the son of Gurdas Singh Badal, and Fateh Badal, the son of Maheshinder Singh Badal, standing against her in the political arena. Fateh Badal, who was a potential Congress candidate from Bathinda, is now supporting ex-MLA Jeet Mohinder Singh Sidhu. Meanwhile, Manpreet Badal, recovering from a heart attack, plans to campaign for the BJP in Bathinda after a medical procedure.
