New Delhi, July 12 (Press ki taquat bureau): The Haryana Government has been directed by the Supreme Court to remove the barricades at the Shambhu border near Ambala, where farmers have been protesting since February 13. The court expressed concern over the state’s decision to block a highway, stating that it is the government’s responsibility to regulate traffic.
The Haryana Government’s counsel informed the court that the state was in the process of filing an appeal against the Punjab and Haryana High Court’s order to open the highway within seven days.
