Hisar, 19 April (Press ki taquat bureau): The government primary school and the temple, which share a wall and are located on a piece of land in the grain market in Hisar town, have been in conflict for several months. The temple authorities are seeking to expand the temple and want the school to be evicted.
A verbal altercation between the school staff and the temple authorities led to the intervention of the police three days ago. Today, the District Elementary Education Department officials called a meeting with the entire staff to address the issue.
Unfortunately, the ongoing dispute has negatively impacted the students, with a decrease in enrollment from 170 students last year to approximately 140 this year. Additionally, the lack of basic facilities, such as toilets, has forced both staff and students to use nearby bushes for their needs.
